How are your tax dollars spent?  Who spends your taxes?

NABR has provided a fast, simple way to answer these questions on their website. Just visit our page on “How are your taxes spent?” and proceed to get your answer.  For example, if you pay $6,500, then  $4,667 is spent by schools, $229 helps pay the Town’s debt, and $214 goes to keep the roads maintained. "It’s interesting, and good to know just how your taxes are spent," notes David Bohn, NABR President. “After all, it’s one of our biggest personal expenses. I never realized what a great value the Mark Twain Library is until I looked at the NABR tax breakdown.” NABR advocates fiscal and educational reform in Connecticut. NABR is a not-for-profit, tax-exempt corporation, and publishes a free bulletin called NABRbrief.
